How Can One Join Creekwood Baptist Church?

How Can You Join Creekwood Baptist Church?

There are three main ways to join Creekwood.  All of them require a personal commitment to Christ first and membership in His universal Church. They are the following:

1. Confession of Faith and Baptism -

This is for new believers or for believers who have never been baptized to follow through with a public profession of their faith and believers baptism.

(Jesus)“Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.” ~Matthew 10:32-33

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God will call.” ~Acts 2:38-39

2. Letter of Transfer

This is for baptized believers coming into our congregation from other Christian churches where they are members.

3. Statement of Christian Experience -

This is for believers who have been baptized but are not currently members of another congregation.

If you are interested in joining Creekwood you may come forward during our Hymn of Commitment that we have at most services to express this desire to Pastor Gary. We also hold a Discovering Church Membership Class (CLASS 101) several times each year. You are always welcome to come to that class to explore a commitment to Christ and the Creekwood Baptist Church family.
